The beginning of the evening at the Walnut Room before
the concert…Larry, Erica and Steve..so calm and happy…so
much love in the room…behind us, that’s jazz vocalist Marcia
Kent-Davis getting a hug from Chris K. of Radio
station KRFC’s popular program The Colorado Sound-Larry’s
music attracts all walks of music lovers!!
After the
show…from left, with the opening band’s Tempa and the Tantrums’ vocalist Tempa
Singer, bluesman Frank DuMont and singer-songwriter Elana
Rogers…well, the party is officially out of control-E
and Larry’s faces say it all!!
So we went on over
to Kokopelli’s Nightclub for an afterparty, and
an impromptu concert jam broke out!! This lineup-with Frank Dumont on
guitar, Joseph Barton on bass, and Larry’s keyboardist Shawn (behind
Erica) and brother Steve (behind Larry) on drums!!
Erica, Larry and the band diggin’ a
trench for the groove…
Then the group re-formed with Glenn Tapia (Catfish
and the Crawlers) on bass! It was Glenn’s birthday too!!
It was jammin’ into the wee hours!! From
left, Shawn, Steve, Frank, Dean Marold on bass (behind Frank),
Joseph and Tempa!
